White Aventurine

A variety of opaque Quartzite – silvery white with sparkling Mica specks.

Aventurine is most commonly associated with the colour green.  However it can be found in many other variations such as red, white, and yellow. Inclusions of Mica flecks within the matrix give the stone a sparkling quality, providing an eye catching finish when highly polished.

White can be seen as a rarer colouration of Aventurine. An opaque finish that has a similar surface texture to granite makes it very unique – particularly compared to more common varieties. The minerals Muscovite and Ilmenite are responsible for the silver, grey, and yellow colouring. Mica flecks are still very visible in this variation, giving the stone a unique brilliance to its surface.

Aventurine is commonly used to soothe anxiety and alleviate fears, while promoting other practical qualities such as leadership and emotional strength.
