Synthetic glass – sparkling brown/red colour

Goldstone is a type of man made glass, originally produced in Venice in the 17th Century. Tiny flecks of copper are embedded throughout its content, giving the stone a sparkling finish that has proven to be highly popular in synthetic jewellery. The most authentic colour of Goldstone is brown.  However it is now produced in China in a variety of other colours, such as green and blue.

It is thought to provide strength and self-confidence – particularly in areas of creativity. Is it commonly thought to help alleviate migraines by soothing visual disturbances.
