A microcrystalline form of Quartz – selected for colour and pattern; various shades of green, yellow, beige and white.

Jasper is an aggregate stone, mainly composed of Quartz and Iron. Orbicular Jasper is named after the naturally occurring spherical inclusions and orbs within its matrix, created by a variety of minerals present during its formation. These impurities reflect the popularity of the stone, as the circular patterns create a very striking appearance – particularly when highly polished.
