Vivianite Specimen
Vivianite Specimens. Vivianite is a phosphate mineral that is colourless when pure, oxidizing into multiple colors at different angles through pleochroism. The crystal specimens appear a deep blue-green, but they will change colour after long exposure to light.
Originally discovered in Cornwall, Vivianite crystals are often found inside fossil shells or attached to fossil bone. Vivianite is also known to appear on iron coffins or on the corpses of humans. It is thought to be a healing crystal, helping one to heal deep emotional wounds.
