Description

Buddstone

A  metamorphosed Chert – mottled apple green.

Buddstone is only found in South Africa, and, due to its exquisite green colouring, is aesthetically comparable to Jade. It is normally found growing close to Verdite (another green stone that is a variety of Serpentine).  Inclusions of green minerals such as Fuchsite and Peridot are responsible for its vibrant pigment.

Buddstone is a grounding stone, associated with bringing order in times of chaos by clearing negative environmental energy.
