Druze caves are formed when volcanic activity crystalises the inside of a Quartz cavity. This lines the pocket with a bed of tightly growing crystal points. Once extracted, the rock is cut in half to reveal the attractive crystal layer within.

The colouring in Citrine is created when Amethyst is exposed to high temperatures for a long period of time.

Please keep out of direct sunlight as this will remove its colour.
