Description
Dalmatian Stone Purple
A Feldspar/Quartz mineral – dyed purple with small black spots.
Dalmatian Stone (also commonly known as Dalmatian Jasper) is an opaque form of Perthite that usually occurs in huge formations. The unique markings within the matrix of the stone are caused by the presence of impurities and other minerals during its formation, creating a pattern similar to the dog breed Dalmatian (hence its name). The markings are caused by small inclusions of Arfvedsonite growing within the deposit. In some cases, foreign minerals can completely pigment the stone, creating an array of colours of such as yellow, red, green and blue.
This stone has been synthetically dyed to enhance the colour.
This stone is commonly used to promote courage and wisdom when pursuing situations of ‘high risk’. It is common used alongside the treatment for organ tissue deterioration, particularly the kidneys, stomach and liver.
