A Macrocrystalline Quartz – translucent deep pink.

As the name suggests, Rose Quartz is commonly known for its natural soft, pink colour. Its milky, slightly opaque appearance differs from other varieties of Quartz, providing a visually eye catching finish popularly used in jewellery making. It is suggested that inclusions of Manganese and Titanium with the Quartz crystal are responsible for its delicate colour, giving a consistent shade of pink when highly polished. Orange flecks of Iron can sometimes be seen on the surface.
