Rough Aragonite (White)

Aragonite is a polymorph of Calcite. These minerals are usually found growing intertwined in high temperature, Calcium- rich marine environments, such as caves or hot springs. The sparkling formation of this crystal, twinned with the purity of it’s white colouration gives this crystal an aesthetically pleasing quality, whether it is being used for display, jewellery, or healing purpose.

Aragonite is commonly found as a white mineral, but can be found in several colours if other minerals are present during its formation, and are able to pigment the deposit. In some cases, you may find hints of red or yellow throughout its unusual coral-like structure.
