Description

Tiger Iron Wand

Long drop shape. Sold Individually.

A Sedimentary Rock – Chatoyant golden brown with blue/green

Tiger Iron is an aggregate stone, comprised of Tiger Eye, Haematite and Red Jasper. These minerals create contrasting banding within the stone, forming an attractive combination of rustic colours.

Inclusions of Tigers Eye give a very unique appearance to Tiger Iron, as it is typically known for its unusual, multi layered patterning and holographic finish (known as chatoyancy). The stone is comprised of layers of fibrous asbestos, which have turned to Quartz through the ages. When highly polished, the filaments within the surface of the stone reflect light, giving the stone a ‘colour changing’ effect. Gold/Brown is the most common variation of the stone.

This is believed to be a powerful stone commonly used to focus natural energy, alleviating symptoms of lethargy and sluggishness. It is also used alongside treatment for blood and bone disorders.
